Introducing our newest member of the BID Team!
The BID working with London Borough of Sutton has successfully achieved UK Shared Prosperity funding support to deliver some additional management of Town Centre space here and in other parts of the borough where it is needed. We are delighted to welcome Louise Massey to our BID Team.
The Town Centre Manager will be your go-to contact for day-to-day issues and works for all our Sutton based businesses, charities, and local organisations/groups.
As many of you will know, the BID has informally worked alongside the Council and other strategic partners for a number of years to support with events and deal with the general Town Centre management. This new role will enable us to formalise that approach, our key partner relationships and develop a clear Town Centre management strategy which will be implemented over time and make the spaces safer, cleaner and more supported than ever before with a dedicated resource.
You can contact the Town Centre Manager for
- Infrastructure Issues (lamp post damage, bench damage, damage to highways etc)
- Business Crime
- Environmental issues (fly tipping etc)
- Business Support (1:1 Support, other support)
- Business promotions and event bookings for Town Centre
- Business engagement – providing information to businesses about projects/schemes and resources available to them.
- Support with local events and activities – assistance with form completion, planning and resources.
- Other – this role is not limiting, raise a question and our TCM will do their utmost to find the answer for you or point you in the right direction!
