What is Sutton’s Go Green Scheme?
Through Sutton’s ‘Go Green Scheme’, businesses enjoy a substantial 70% discount on their business rates bill.
To qualify for these business rates discounts, businesses need to achieve a Green Mark accreditation, which is provided for free for participant businesses.
There are no upfront or later costs associated with joining the scheme. Once businesses achieve the Green Mark accreditation, they will receive a 70% reduction in their business rates bills.

Green Mark’s sustainability accreditation team offers a user-friendly framework via an online portal with support from a specialist support team, to guide businesses on their sustainability journeys.
With as little as one hour per week over 12 weeks, businesses can achieve the Green Mark certification and benefit from a 70% discount on their business rates.
By achieving Green Mark full accreditation, a business reaches the equivalent of ISO 14001 in government procurement frameworks.
