Successful Sutton levy payers are invited to the next Sutton Question Time (SQT) event at the SCOLA Business Centre, 660 London Road, North Cheam, SM3 9BZ on Tuesday the 10th September 2013 between 7pm and 9pm.
Sutton Question Time events give you the chance to ask questions directly to the Leader of the Council, senior public sector colleagues and leading representatives of other organisations in Sutton. Hosting the evening will be Saboohi Famili, Principal of the Sutton College of Learning for Adults (SCOLA) with panel members including Peter Dosanjh (Chief Executive of Monarch Partnership), Ross Feeney (Chief Executive of Successful Sutton), Cllr Jayne McCoy (Chair of the Housing, Economy and Business Committee) and Cllr Ruth Dombey, Leader of the Council.
While we expect the evening to have a business theme, the panel will be able to answer questions on other relevant topics as well. The format for Sutton Question Time is very similar to David Dimbleby’s BBC1 version, where questions from the audience and the wider public are posed to the panel on the night. Panel members answer, discuss and debate relevant issues before moving onto another topical question.
Sutton Question Time involves the wider community through opening itself up to comments on Twitter (#SuttonQT), offering an immediate forum for reflections on what is being discussed. If you are able to attend please email or phone Simon Bishop on simon.bishop@sutton.gov.uk or 020 8770 4394. If you have any queries about Sutton Question Time do not hesitate to get in touch with Simon.
