Sutton Tramlink Consultation Wednesday 30th July

Sutton Tramlink Consultation Wednesday 30th July

The London Boroughs of Sutton and Merton are working together to progress a possible extension of the Tramlink network from Wimbledon to Sutton town centre via Morden. A tram extension to Sutton will be a unique opportunity to boost local business and create more jobs.

We would like to invite you to take part in the consultation on the potential extension of the network by attending a drop-in session at Sutton Superbowl, St Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1AT on Wednesday 30 July 2014 at 4.00-7.00pm

View the A5 Tramlink options here

At this event you can learn about the proposed Tramlink extension from transport experts, councillors and council officers, ask questions and share your views on the proposals. The event will be attended by other stakeholders including businesses, residents’ associations and key interest groups. It will follow a drop-in format so we welcome you to come along at any time between 4pm and 7pm.

The event forms part of a wider consultation process being conducted throughout Sutton and Merton which is running until 17 August 2014. For further information about the Tramlink extension proposals, to respond to our consultation questionnaire and direct members of your network to do likewise, I would encourage you to visit www.suttonmertontramlink.co.uk as early as possible before 17 August 2014.

Consultation responses will be summarised in an independent report by OPM Group (Office for Public Management and Dialogue by Design). This will be shared with Transport for London and will help inform a decision about what should happen next.

Please reply to suttonmertontramlink@dialoguebydesign.co.uk to confirm your attendance by Monday 28 July.
