As we move into our Christmas break, information on First Mile Collections, our BID Support Officer hours and more below.

FIRST MILE COLLECTIONS

• Collecting as normal over Christmas and New Year, apart from Christmas Day (no collections) and New Year’s Day (no collections).
• For collections on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, customers could book in for these in advance free of charge, if they let us know they needed a collection on these days. First Mile emailed all customers 2 weeks ago with a link to book in if they needed.
• For those who didn’t book in, collections will be back out as normal the next day, and will be collecting everything that’s out for collection as normal.

RADIO USERS AND BID SUPPORT

• BID Support Officer will be back on duty Saturday 27th December then its service as usual from Monday 29th December. Further information here:
• Radio will not be monitored Christmas Day or Boxing Day by our BID Team, but other radio users will be on the system so continue your daily radio checks, let others know you are out there.
• Reminder to please, in the event of an emergency, call 999 and continue to report instances of business crime via the MET police reporting website or by calling 101.

REPORTING ISSUES

• The BID inbox is available throughout Christmas and into the New Year to report issues with High Street infrastructure, lighting, benches, paving, fly tip and anything else which impacts your business operation. Please email in the first instance. Email is Patricia.park@successfulsutton.co.uk.

BID CEO

• Our BID CEO will be around for urgent matters above over Christmas but will be working from home from 27th December until 5th January. Contact via email or mobile during normal working hours.
