A few years ago the BID sponsored two bikes for our Met Police Uk Safer Neighbourhood Team officers. Last week we popped in to Balfe’s Bikes who kindly did a full service and supplied some much needed inner tubes!
These bikes have proven to be a great asset and have assisted (I am reliably informed) on multiple arrests.Thanks to Balfes for their help in keeping them road worthy and in top condition, and thanks to our Police teams who continue to do a great job for our Town Centre.

The BID is very proud of its ongoing and vitally important relationship with our MET Police colleagues. Through the work of our BID Support Officer we complete joint patrols, share important business crime related intelligence and ensure that crimes committed against our members and in our district space are reported, followed up and acted on.
